Hast & Company is a Colorado Corporation, founded in 1979, with headquarters in Boulder, Colorado, acting as a Real Estate Brokerage under the Colorado Broker's license of its President, Thomas D. Hast.Our primary business is professional property management.We also offer a variety of related services including asset management, leasing, sales and marketing, and consulting.Our market area traditionally has been the Front Range of Colorado extending from Fort Collins in the North to Colorado Springs in the South with an emphasis on the Denver metropolitan area, although we have ranged beyond Colorado on a number of occasions for consulting assignments.
Hast & Company has developed an excellent reputation in our field during our 31 years in business. For many of those years, we have been the largest management company based in Boulder.Hast & Company currently offers a full range of asset management, property management, brokerage and consulting services to institutional and private clients, as well as real estate developers and lenders with troubled or REO properties.Hast & Company employs over 40 people at present, including licensed property managers, accounting and secretarial staff, and on-site personnel.All employees are fully bonded professionals.
We have also been pioneers in bringing a green approach to property management. Long before it was fashionable, for more than twenty years now, we have been using compact florescent light bulbs, low-flow faucets and shower heads, insulating swimming pool covers, rain meters on sprinkler systems. as well as utilizing roofing technologies which also increase building insulation, and pushing recycling on multi-family properties for many years before it was mandated in Boulder. We have been fully wind powered in our corporate offices since it has been possible to do that, an idea that Tom Hast and some colleagues brought to Public Service Company/Xcel a year or two before they started doing it.
